Made from sustainably harvested eucalyptus into Tencel, you can be confident that the fabric coming into contact with your family’s skin is nontoxic and ecofriendly.
Tencel (also called Lyocell) is a cellulose fiber, which is made by dissolving wood pulp and using a special drying process called spinning. Tencel has incredible absorption characteristics and is 50% more absorbent than cotton, more breathable and less susceptible to odorous bacteria growth.
Bamboo is commonly seen as ecofriendly. However, the process to make bamboo into viscose or rayon fiber is very water and chemical intensive. Eucalyptus fiber is therefore the most sustainable of the options.
